Our specialized therapists at Brittany are here to help you meet your physical therapy goals! At BRPT we know that one size does not fit all, especially where your health is concerned. That’s why our unique team brings a wide breadth of knowledge and years of patient care experience. Some of the specialized treatments we provide include joint mobilization, manipulation, soft tissue massage, manual stretching techniques, dry needling, and Astym®. These techniques are evidence-based and great for addressing issues such as post-operative recovery, joint and muscle pain, spinal alignment issues. We also offer treatment options for cervical radiculopathy, TMJ disorder, balance and fall prevention, chronic pain, and lymphedema. Our highly trained clinicians have incredible success rates with even the most persistent and aggravating complaints. We will work with you to develop a treatment plan that will help you return to work, sport, hobbies, and functional activities as quickly and safely as possible. Not only are we a top-performing clinic, but we also strive to make the rehabilitation process holistic and encouraging. Meet Our Team of Specialized Staff at Brittany
We know that starting a rehabilitation program can be overwhelming, which is why we ensure that there is a team member specifically trained to help you with every step. Our business managers and front desk associates will help you navigate appointment scheduling, insurance concerns, and answer any logistical questions you may have. Our physical therapists (PT, DPT) will guide you through a thorough evaluation during your first visit with us. The physical therapist will ask questions and take measurements, as well as discuss your priorities and goals for therapy. After your first visit, you will be treated by a physical therapist (PT, DPT), or a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who will guide you through exercises and interventions designed specifically to address your goals and get you closer to full recovery!
Meet the Staff
Dr. Kaplan is a native of Pickens, Mississippi. He attended Louisiana State University and is a 1989 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 1993, he received a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University. Dr. Kaplan received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. Kaplan is a manual therapist, Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 1999. His clinical expertise is in the area of orthopedics, sports medicine, and work-related injuries. Dr. Kaplan is an ASTYM system provider. He has completed Level I, II, and Functional training through Kinetacore in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT)/Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN). Dr. Kaplan has almost 30 years of clinical practice in Orthopedics. He is the Clinic Director of the Brittany Drive location. He has served as President and CEO of BRPT-Lake since 2004.

Dr. Rogers is a native of Covington, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2015. In 2018, he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport. Shea is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association (LPTA). He joined BRPT-Lake in 2018.
A native of White Castle, LA, Mrs. Chauvin graduated from Louisiana State University in 2014, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2016, where she received her Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting. She has been with Baton Rouge Physical Therapy – LAKE since 2016.
