He attended Louisiana State University and is a 1989 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 1993, he received a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University. Dr. Kaplan received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. Kaplan is a manual therapist, Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 1999. Gus graduated from the Louisiana State University, School of Allied Health, in 1986. Eight years later, he completed the Gulf Coast Graduate Institute of Manual Therapy Residency Program, focusing on advanced evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions with the use of mobilization and manipulative techniques. After completing the 18-month program, Gus received certification as a Level 2 Manual Therapist. He has earned the prestigious Fellowship status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, and received his Orthopedic Certified Specialization distinction in 1994, with recertifications in 2004, and then again in 2014. In 2010, Gus received his DPT from the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions. With over 30 years of clinical experience, he has treated a variety of high school, collegiate and professional athletes. He has used Astym® treatment since 2001 on a wide variety of orthopedic patients and has been a national instructor for this treatment since 2003. Gus has completed level I and II training in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) or Dry Needling through Kinetacore, in addition to Kinesiology Taping and is an Active Release Technique practitioner for the upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine. Dr. Gutierrez has enjoyed working with athletes and athletic trainers over his career and currently serves as the team therapist for a number of high schools as well as an LSU Track and Field physical therapist. He has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 1986.
Dr. LeBlanc is a native of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana and earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University. In 1999, he received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. LeBlanc is a manual therapist and an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in Physical Therapy as acknowledged by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. His clinical interests are primarily sports rehab and manual therapy, including state-of-the-art techniques such as Astym and ART. Dr. LeBlanc is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association (LPTA). He is a past president of the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. Dr. LeBlanc has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 2000. In recognition for his achievements as a clinician and successes in professional association activities, Dr. LeBlanc was recognized in 2008 as the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Outstanding Physical Therapy Alumni. In 2010, he was recognized as one of the Baton Rouge Business Report 2010 Top 40 under 40 honorees. He is currently serving as a team physical therapist for the LSU Track and Field teams.
Ms. Alexander is a native of DeRidder, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Communications Disorders from Louisiana State University in 1991. Ms. Alexander is a speech-language pathologist with a certificate of clinical competence. Her areas of expertise are the treatment of neurological disorders and dysphagia. She joined BRPT-Lake in 2001.
Ms. Sawyer is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and received a Bachelor of Science in 1981. Ms. Sawyer received certification as a Certified Public Accountant in 1983, and she joined BRPT-Lake in 1984.
Ms. Jones is a native of Lutcher, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Southern University in 1999. Ms. Jones is an active member of Greater Baton Rouge Society of Human Resource Management and the National Association of Professional Women. She joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2015.

Dr. McDuffie is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in 2013. Sam, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University in 2016. Jalal Musleh was born in Baton Rouge, LA. As a kid, he lived in Alberquerque, NM, but returned back to Baton Rouge for high school. He graduated from the Franciscan University Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019. He is a member of the APTA. He joined BRPT-Lake in 2019.

Dr. Laurent is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Ms. Bueche is a native of Arabi, Louisiana. She is a 1985 graduate of the LSU Medical Center School of Allied Health Professions with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She received advanced certification in upper extremity treatment, is a Certified Hand Therapist, and also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Ms. Bueche has advanced training in the areas of neurodevelopmental treatment for the adult neurological population, vestibular rehabilitation, and lymphedema management (UE, LE, and head/neck). Her clinical expertise involves hand/UE disorders/injuries, lymphedema management, vestibular rehab, work related injuries/job site evaluations, and adult neurological conditions. She is a certified Astym system provider. She is director of the OT department and clinical coordinator for OT student interns. Ms. Bueche is a past President of Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association and has held several positions on the Board and Executive Board since 1991. She was recognized as "OT of the Year" in 2013 by LOTA. She is a past instructor and Board Member since 1988 for the Arthritis Association of Louisiana. She is actively involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Louisiana including service as a First Connection volunteer. She maintains an active membership in American Occupational Therapy Association, Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association, and American Society of Hand Therapists. Mrs. LeBlanc is a native of Ama, Louisiana. She worked as a tech at Baton Rouge Physical Therapy - LAKE from 2012 to 2014. She completed her Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2015 prior to rejoining the company as a PTA. She stays active in community sports with her husband and two children.

Ms. Couvillion graduated from LSU School of Allied Health Professions in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, Ms. Couvillion worked in acute care and in rehabilitation hospitals in New Orleans. In 1999 she earned the added credential of Certified Hand Therapist. Ms. Couvillion worked at Crescent City Physical Therapy in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and relocated to Ascension Parish and BRPT-Lake in 2006. Ms. Couvillion's clinical expertise includes hand/upper extremity disorders and CancerFit as she is trained to perform lymphedema management. Ms. Couvillion is a certified ASTYM system provider.

Mr. Brunet is also the recipient of the 2011 LPTA Distinguished Service Award. He now resides with his family in Gonzales and joined BRPT in 2018.

Abigail Fontaine is a native from Baton Rouge, LA. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2014. She completed her Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in 2019. Mrs. Fontaine is an active member of the American Physical Therapy association, as well as the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. She joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2019.
Dr. LeBlanc is a native of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana and earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University. In 1999, he received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. LeBlanc is a manual therapist and an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in Physical Therapy as acknowledged by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. His clinical interests are primarily sports rehab and manual therapy, including state-of-the-art techniques such as Astym and ART. He has also completed level I and II training in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) or Dry Needling through Kinetacore. Dr. LeBlanc is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association (LPTA). He is a past president of the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. Dr. LeBlanc has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 2000. In recognition for his achievements as a clinician and successes in professional association activities, Dr. LeBlanc was recognized in 2008 as the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Outstanding Physical Therapy Alumni. In 2010, he was recognized as one of the Baton Rouge Business Report 2010 Top 40 under 40 honorees. He is currently serving as a team physical therapist for the LSU Track and Field teams.
Dr. LeBlanc is a native of Dutchtown, LA. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2010, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2013. Dr. LeBlanc is a certified ASTYM system provider. He has also completed Level 1 and Level 2 training through Kinetacore in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT)/Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN). Dr. LeBlanc has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 2015.
Ms. Beatty is a native of Denham Springs, LA. She earned her Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2000. She joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2000.
Mr. Latapie is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1993. He completed his Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake College in May of 2014. Mr. Latapie is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. He joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2014.
Mrs. Huval is a native of Central, Louisiana. She earned her Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake College in May of 2010. She is also an all-star cheerleading coach in the Baton Rouge area. Mrs. Huval is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. She joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2010.
Jenny, a native of Denham Springs, Louisiana, began her first Associate’s Degree in General Studies/Culinary Arts at Faulkner State, where she played college basketball and softball. She completed that degree in 2012 at the Louisiana Culinary Institute. In 2018, after serving over 8 years as a physical therapy technician in her community, she went on to earn her second Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. She joined BRPT-Lake in August 2018.
Mr. Melancon is a native of Gonzales, Louisiana and is a 1991 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Allied Health Professions with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Mr. Melancon's clinical expertise is in the treatment of orthopedic patients, particularly sports medicine, work-related injuries. He is a certified ART and ASTYM system provider. Mr. Melancon is a manual therapist and Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. He has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 1991.
Sidney Saurage Morvant, a native of White Castle, LA, earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics from Nicholls State University in 1993. She was a member of the NSU Tennis Team and after graduation, became a Certified Member of the United States Professional Tennis Association. She has been coaching high school and adult tennis while working in the fitness industry as a nutritional counselor. Mrs. Morvant completed her Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake in 2006 and joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2006.
