Check Out Hunger/REDSTOCK- Now through August 31st: In partnership with WAFB, we kicked off the annual "Check Out Hunger" campaign on behalf of the Baton Rouge Food Bank, which runs through July 17th. However, after receiving such great response with getting our food barrels filled at our seven clinics, we have decided to extend our participation help them with their REDSTOCK campaign, which will allow us to collect food items through August 31st!

Red, Rock & Blue Concert July 10 - Red, Rock & Blue Concert: We love being a part of Red, Rock and Blue, which supports La military charities. This year, over 700 attended the show in Perkins Rowe, where these infamous 90s bands brought the house down.

June 25 - Varsity Sports Wine Walk: Did you know that the Varsity Sports Wine Walk raises money for the Pete Boudreaux Track Initiative for Catholic High School? This year, the event was held on 6/25 at the LSU Rural Life Museum and raised $12,192.60! We enjoyed every second of being out there with Klair Ann Music, with wine provided by LeBlanc's Supermarket!

June 24-25 - Red, Rock & Blue Softball Tournament: The Red, Rock and Blue Softball Tournament - Supporting La military charities - was an incredible weekend with two victories, some great plays and tons of laughs. Way to go, team! Jacques Doucet did a fantastic job, once again, putting this huge event together - we are so proud to be a part of it. ‪#‎redrockandblue2016‬‬ ‪#‎strongertogether‬

May 14 - Girls On the Run 5K: This year, Girls on the Run is celebrating 20 years of inspiring girls to activate their limitless potential. Their mission, "We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running." We enjoy being a part of the semi-annual GOTR 5K, held at Pennington Biomedical, which this year drew over 3,000 people and featured several hundred runners!

April 11 – Louisiana Young Heroes Award Ceremony: Thank you to Louisiana Public Broadcasting, Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, and all sponsors that helped put together the Louisiana Young Heroes banquet. It is such an honor to be a part of an amazing event like this! What inspiring stories from some incredible people.

Fat Boy 5K April 9 – Fat Boy 5K: Chocolate Easter bunnies for the winners? Oh yeah! The event kicks off with some pre-race donuts and chocolate milk, and after the race for Manda Sausage Po-boys, Mockler beverages, Moon Pies, and Coca-Cola products. Enter as a skinny runner, or man up to the Clydesdale division!

  MARCH 4th-6th - We will be teaming up with Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital for the Amazing Half Marathon. The BRPT-Lake tent will be setup Saturday & Sunday, and our therapists will provide pre & post-race stretches for the 10K (qualifier for the Crescent City Classic) and Half marathon on Sunday. Michelle_Jones Welcome to our next newly hired therapist, Michelle Jones, PT, DPT. Ms. Jones is a native of Ruston. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion in May of 2008. In May 2011, she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

Luke Zumo PT DPT Luke is a native of Baton Rouge. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans, where he played basketball for the Wolfpack. He is also a graduate of LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011.
